Hershey’s Chocolate!

Hershey’s chocolate was created by a man named, Milton Snavely Hershey, in 1894. The name “Hershey’s” came from Milton’s last name.

Hershey’s chocolates are made from fresh products. First, chocolate beans are cleaned and roasted. Then, they are shelled and grinded until they become pure chocolate syrup. Next, milk and sugar are added, and then the chocolate syrup is added. Cocoa butter is also added and then the mixer is spun to make it smooth. The mixers are poured into bar molds and are sent to the cooling tunnel to cool down. At the end of the process, a delicious Hershey’s chocolate bar is made.

In 1900, Milton sold his caramel company for $1,000,000, about $24,000,000 in today’s currency, and began to concentrate on chocolate manufacturing. In 1903, Milton began construction of a chocolate plant in his hometown, Derry Church, Pennsylvania, which later became known as Hershey, Pennsylvania. The milk chocolate bars manufactured at this plant proved successful, and the company grew rapidly after that.

The Hershey Foods Corporation is the world’s largest chocolate company. Hershey’s is the largest chocolate manufacturer in North America. The headquarters are located in Hershey, Pennsylvania, a town permeated by the aroma of chocolate. Hershey’s is one of the oldest chocolate companies in the United States, and is an icon for its chocolate bar. There are about four Hershey chocolate factories in the United States of America. One is located in New York, another one is located in Chicago, one is located in Philadelphia, and the most important one is located in Pennsylvania.
